September 1st to April 15th

Little League Baseball has four divisions of play that players can register for. We cap each division at 96 players. Once a division reaches 96 registered players, additional players are put on a waiting list. Registration is open every year from September 1st to April 15th.

If you live in the state of North Dakota you can play Little League Baseball. The player eligibility boundary encompasses the entire state of North Dakota because the Fargo Little League Baseball Charter is the only chartered Little League in the state of North Dakota. Players from Moorhead MN have also played in the league but are not eligible for the All Star Team due to living in Minnesota.

Frequently Asked Questions

Little League Baseball offers fun, competitive, developmentally orientated baseball leagues for players age 5 to 15 years old in the Fargo Metropolitan Area and eastern North Dakota. The Summer league season runs from May 1st to July 31st. Teams are drafted and organized in April. All Summer leagues play Monday through Thursday evenings with no Friday, Saturday or Sunday league games scheduled after the Memorial Day Weekend. Double-headers are played Sunday afternoons, in May only, prior to the Memorial Day Weekend. All leagues are competitive and season ending playoff tournaments are held in each league at the end of the season.

How many games do we play, where and when?
Teams play between 20 and 25 games depending on weather each year. Some league teams and players choose to play in local weekend tournaments of their choosing outside of Little League play. Little League also offers a Fall Baseball League Sunday afternoons in September and October, along with a Spring Training Indoor League in March and April at the Sports Bubble.
Is there post season play?

Each League selects an All Star Team in June. Team selection depends on individual player performance during league games. Once selected the All Star Team represents the organization in Little League International Tournament play as seen on ESPN. Little League 10 and 11 year old All Star Teams travel to Minneapolis MN for All Star Tournament play. Our 12 year old All Star Team travels to Rapid City SD, Indianapolis IN and the Little League World Series in Williamsport PA for Major Division All Star Tournament play as seen on ESPN. While our Major Division All Star Teams have not made it to a Regional or World Series tournament in the league’s 5 year history, our All Star teams have played teams that have made it to the Little League World Series including Canyon Lake SD LL, Harney SD LL and Timberline SD LL during State Tournament play in Rapid City SD. The 13 and 14 year old All Star Team travels to Fort Wayne IN annually for the Little League Central Region Junior Division All Star Tournament.
